London, February 10th 2016: Stuart Nicol and Peter Mountford, both trustees at Heropreneurs, hosted another successful networking event in the beautiful surroundings of London's historic Cavalry and Guards Club.
A mixture of ex-servicemen and women, business owners and entrepreneurs arrived for a relaxed evening of discussions and networking opportunities, which was interspersed with an insightful talk from an individual Heropreneurs has helped in the past.
Will Locke, Director of Operations at Ecomotoive Logistics, regaled the crowd with tales of early obstacles in the planning stages of his vehicle logistics company, overcoming adversity and tips on how grow a successful business.
"These events are a great opportunity for like-mined individuals to meet and discuss their various fields of expertise," said Stuart Nicol.
"We host one of these events most months and they seem to be gathering pace. We've noticed an increase in attendance and we hope it continues to grow so we can continue to connect those looking for investment opportunities and help business flourish," he added.
Heropreneurs help serving (regular and reserves), spouses and ex-service men and women develop their ideas and give them the mentoring, networking and confidence to try to reduce the risks inherent in starting and growing a business.
Many of these mentors are business people with significant experience of small businesses who have not served themselves but who are willing to give a couple of hours per month to help those who have served.
We hope to see you soon.
