Colin Smart speaks at The Clubhouse in Mayfair, London

London, March 9th 2016: Colin Smart, an expert in casualty care who served in the Royal Army Medical Corps and now develops and sells equipment to optimise triage, treatment and evacuation from civilian and military casualty scenes, was the focus of our networking event this month, as he demonstrated some of the uses for his cutting-edge designs.

Stuart Nicol, a trustee at Heroprenuers, was on hand to host the proceedings and even stepped up to the plate to act as a wounded victim in a spot of light-hearted role-play.

However, Colin Smart also has some serious tips and pointers to those starting out in business and regaled the crowd at Mayfair's intimate Clubhouse with stories of his own successes and failures.

Heropreneurs, the charity that helps serving (regular and reserves), spouses and ex-service men and women develop their ideas and give them the mentoring, networking and confidence to try to reduce the risks inherent in starting and growing a business, hosts an event like this on a monthly basis.

Next month sees Heledd Kendrick, Founder and CEO of Recruit for Spouses, which helps armed forces spouses get the best jobs possible and helps firms get the talent they need, step up to the stage at The Special Forces Club in Knightsbridge to talk all things business.
