- Business Workshops: Usually held in central London over half a day by experienced business owners, these classes coach you through the very beginning of starting a business, the sometimes dramatic lifestyle change, whether business is right for you, the business proposition, basics of finance and law, the importance of a mentor, marketing, customer needs, and launching your business.
- Mentoring: An absolute must in our view is seeking experience from soneone who has been there and done it. Mentors can help you develop skills, give you critical insights such as learning from previous business mistakes, assess your business idea, guide you through the objectives of your business, pitch training, introduction through networks to potential investors, suppliers and customers as well as someone who can relate to your business problems.
- Free Legal and financial advice: Through our corporate legal partners (Hogan-Lovells) we are able to offer advice on the structure of a company, IP, partnerships, tax and a number of other legal services. Free financial advice includes advice on access to finance, investments, HMRC, and a full-range of business and funding advice.
- Access to our trusted networks Very few registered charities with a dedicated intake from the armed forces have an introductions network like ours who have the same passion and enthusiasm for business as you do. Working closely with your mentor who will advise us how close you are to being ‘investment ready’ we will introduce you to networks of investors that might be interested in investing in your business idea, to help grow your company.
