The Employer of the Year award recognises the contributions of businesses that actively seek to employ members of the military community, specifically military veterans and dependants. Employers need to demonstrate how they use their resources to assist service personnel with the transition from military to civilian employment, as well as the ways they support veterans and military dependants to realise their full potential in the workforce.

The business can be any size.
The company’s engagement with veterans may be led by either a civilian, or an Armed Forces veteran.
The business may be any age.

Remember, the Judges will be looking for information about how you, as employer, actively engages with and seeks to employ Armed Forces veterans and those from the wider military community.
Include the ways in which your company demonstrates their understanding of veterans’ backgrounds and the unique skillsets they bring to businesses.
