In November we enjoyed a fantastic evening celebrating the fourth annual Heropreneurs Awards at London's Imperial War Museum. Kindly hosted by Stuart Rock and guest of honour, Fi Glover, co-host of the afternoon show at Times Radio, the awards celebrated the very best of entrepreneurship in the military community, from start-up businesses to international corporations, and everything in between.
We received a hugely strong field of entries once again this year, and our winners, chosen after much deliberation by our panel of expert judges, saw off some stiff competition to claim their awards, and we would like to offer them all our warmest congratulations.
The winners for each category are:
Start-Up of the Year, supported by Barclays Eagle Labs - Grid Finder
Product of the Year, supported by Brigantes - SWiRL Global
Sustainable Business of the Year, supported by Branding Science - Uplift 360
Heropreneur of the Year - Emily Mcguirk
Technology Business of the Year, supported by Amazon Web Services - Loopin
The Veterans' Foundation Award - The Soldiers' Art Academy
Employer of the Year - Jacobs
Entrepreneur of the Year, supported by Goldman Sachs - Jennifer Barry
Warwick Business School Bursary - Luke Parker
You can find a full list of the runners-up for each category, as well as further information on our supporters and the awards evening by taking a look at our Awards Brochure.
Finally, we would like to take this opportunity to offer our sincerest thanks to Banks Cooper Associates, Barclays Eagle Labs, Brigantes Consulting, Branding Science, Amazon Web Services, the Veterans' Foundation, Goldman Sachs, and Warwick Business School for their support of the Heropreneurs Awards 2022 and their dedication and commitment to providing opportunities for the military community in business.
