Our CEO Becci Parriss represented Heropreneurs at the inaugural Veterans Employers Group, chaired by the Rt. Hon. James Heappey MP at the Cabinet Office on Thursday 20 October.
Many of our charity and commercial partners joined the meeting to discuss the best practise examples of those already successfully employing veterans and how to encourage others, particularly small to medium enterprises, to widen and adapt their employment processes to ensure a level playing field for the Armed Forces community.
We were very grateful of the opportunity to attend the meeting, and look forward to discussions around self-employment and entrepreneurship in the future.
