The team behind the day-to-day running of Heropreneurs is a dedicated group of subject matter experts with a wealth of experience across industry, the armed forces and entrepreneurship.

BECCI PARRISS

CEO

Becci joined Heropreneurs after four years with RMA - The Royal Marines Charity - as their Employment and Education Manager where she was responsible for the design and delivery of their strategy to support vulnerable leavers and veterans into sustainable and rewarding employment. Prior to this, she honed her ex-military employment skills with the social enterprise SaluteMyJob. 

Becci is a keen participant of the COBSEO Employment Cluster and enjoys strong working relationships with MOD resettlement services, CTP and other key UK military charities, ensuring collaborative working and always seeking to secure the best possible outcome for the beneficiary.

A Registered Career Development Professional, Becci is a qualified Careers Advisor, combining her ongoing professional development with practical and commercial experience and applying them to the unique circumstances of the UK’s diverse military community. 

Becci currently lives in Devon with her Royal Marine husband, young daughter and dog (a Leonberger cross called Duke) and previously spent several years in Arbroath, Scotland. She is a keen baker and enjoys long walks exploring the South West Coast Path and surrounding Devon countryside.

MATT FEELEY

Head of Development

Matt is a veteran fundraiser with a long record of raising millions for good causes. He is particularly pleased to be working for Heropreneurs being a proud Forces Kid from the 60s and 70s.

Over the last 20 years, Matt has helped to increase income for various institutions in higher education, substance misuse, and environmental regeneration, as well as several religious organisations.

At Heropreneurs he hopes to generate support from a number of sources including trusts and foundations, corporate sponsorship, and individuals who appreciate the unique role played by the team of business mentors.

Based in Kenilworth in the West Midlands he is married to Karen, a mathematics teacher, and has two teenage children. In his spare time, he plays racquetball, enjoys eating out, and cares for four guinea pigs.

Sheridan Parry

Team Coordinator

Sheridan joined Heropreneurs after spending the last 9 months with the Naval Families Federation. Before this, Sheridan worked for RMA - The Royal Marines Charity where she first gained her knowledge of Military Charities and began building connections with the Serving community, Veterans and Families. 

 

Sheridan says "I am passionate about the Military community, I feel lucky to be able to work within such an inspiring community."

 

Sheridan lives in Arbroath with her Royal Marine Husband, two young sons and cocker spaniel Puppy; after previously living in Plymouth for 6 years. She loves to spend her spare time outdoors, paddle boarding or exploring the Scottish countryside and beaches.

AMY NOLAN

Mentorship Programme Manager

Amy co-ordinates our mentoring programme and is tasked with making sure that our mentors and mentees have a great experience. 

Amy says, "Working with our amazing mentees and volunteer mentors is a real honour and I feel we are very lucky to get to be part of their business journey in a very small way".

When Amy is not working with Heropreneurs, she is a freelance administrator and illustrator and loves (loves, loves) to draw.

JENNY MONAGHAN

Marketing and Events Manager

Jenny joined Heropreneurs after three years of running her own business where she gained in-depth knowledge of digital marketing and strategies to leverage reach and growth.

She has enjoyed working with small businesses, brands, and companies to increase their online presence. It is from this that her passion for creating innovative, visual, and written content grew. 


Jenny currently lives in Somerset, with her husband who is serving in the Royal Marines, her young son and two dogs. In her spare time, she creates imagery and content for brands, designs macrame pieces and enjoys gardening.
