Entrepreneur of the Year

This award rewards an individual who has demonstrated significant success with demonstrable entrepreneurial spirit. Success takes many forms, but may include growth, profitability, flexibility, and overcoming challenges

Technology Business of The Year  

Sponsored by Amazon Web Service

This award focuses on a business whose core area of operation is in technology – either the development and manufacturing of technology or providing technology as a service. Nominees will need to show how technology is the cornerstone of their business, while highlighting the benefits that it brings to its end users.

Heropreneur of the Year

Heropreneur of The Year will be awarded to an individual who has truly embodied the community spirit of Heropreneurs during this past year. This will be through a notable period of personal growth while participating in the mentoring programme and an altruistic show of support for their fellow mentees. The successful nominee may have experienced considerable adversity to reach individual or business milestones but do so with a sense of true resilience, flexibility and strength

The Veteran’s

Foundation Award

This award seeks to recognise an organisation that has given outstanding support to veterans in need. Nominees will also have demonstrated innovation and entrepreneurial qualities in doing so.

Employer of the Year

This award recognises the contributions of businesses that actively seek to employ members of the military community, specifically if they have created jobs for veterans, reservists and/or dependants.

Sustainable Business of

The Year

 Sponsored by Branding Science

This award  celebrates those businesses focusing on sustainable, ethical practices, without compromising their bottom line. Nominees should demonstrate environmentally mindful practises which have been established at the core of their business, without sacrificing profitability, delivery or customer experience.

Business of The Year

 

The Heropreneurs Business of the Year Award is awarded to a business that must have achieved all round success in the year to 31 March 2022, not just in financial terms but also operational.  Size isn't important - but demonstrable success is.  The business must have been founded and is run by a member of the Armed Forces community (this includes a veteran, or a partner of a veteran of the Armed Forces) or a partner of someone still serving.

Start-Up of the Year

This award recognises a business in the early-stages of its inception, which is successfully transitioning from an idea to an operational business. The successful nominee will have a commercial product or service, a strong and sustainable plan, in addition to displaying a high level of dedication and enthusiasm to bring their business to fruition.

Product of The Year

This award seeks to recognise the best products coming to the market from the military business community. The product in question can come from any sector but must represent excellence in both quality and innovation

Warwick Business School Bursary Prize

The WBS Award is an outstanding opportunity for a member of the military community – serving,
veteran or dependent to study an MBA or an Executive Diploma with this prestigious educational
establishment. This award is designed to help individuals transition to the next stage of their career
