This award recognises a business whose main area of operation is in technology – either focusing on the development and manufacturing of technology, or providing technology as a service. Nominees will need to show how technology is the cornerstone of their business, while highlighting the benefits that it brings to its end users. Success may take many forms, but may include growth, profitability, flexibility and overcoming challenges.

The business’ main area of operation must be in technology.

The must be founded and/or managed by ex-Armed Forces personnel, OR the spouse or partner of a serving member of the Armed Forces.

Provide a narrative – not bullet points. However, remember that we are not looking for perfect written English. Above all, the Judges are assessing your passion, innovation and drive.

Remember, the Judges will be looking for information about the business and what makes it a possible winner.

Reference any skills you gained in military life that you have successfully transferred to your technology business.
